If you’re wondering what Makeup Morsels is all about, you can do one of two things. You can either read the rest of this page, which pretty much sums up the content on here, or you can read my blog. The latter would bring me much joy.
Makeup Morsels is an online compilation of my adventures in the world of makeup. Since December 2009, I’ve become obsessed with sunscreen, joined the ranks of the Lipstick Bandits, and dabbled in ‘Hemingway manicures.’ This is primarily a beauty blog, but if you’d rather read about my cooking attempts, love of all things Tolkien, or collaborative musings with the wigeon, I’ve tossed some of that in as well.

If you made it through my ramblings above, here are a few tidbits about me. I’m currently attending college in one of the 50 states (that really narrows it down, I know), and running this blog in my little pockets of spare time. I love to cook, and can’t wait for the day when I have a kitchen that is not a microwave. I’m also a huge art history fanatic, and spend my summers visiting museums and dreaming of the day when I’ll finally go see the Louvre. Books, blogs, and magazines occupy a large chunk of my time. Writing does that too, but tends to feel slightly more torturous. In fact, I started this blog partly in an attempt to overcome the dreaded writer’s block. I’m calling it a 26% successful effort.
