The Wednesday Wigeon No.8

I was supposed to do a tag post for this week’s Wednesday Wigeon, but I really don’t have the time.  I’m also going to fall a little behind on commenting and reading until Friday, when I’ll hopefully be back with a nice review or something along those lines.

So anyways, I’m changing the tag to something much shorter.  Hmm…let me think of a good question to ask you guys.

What do you do when you’re stressed out?

My response of choice in the past was to grab a bucket of ice water, and chug it while I sat down and dealt with whatever needed to be dealt with until the wee hours of the morning.  Once, completely oblivious to its sleep-inducing properties, I took Nyquil.  That made staying up even more difficult…

Now, my response is to go to sleep.  Take a nap!  Drink some tea!  Or take a hot shower.  (And listen to some hip-hop/rap).

Now tell me, my lovely readers.  How do you deal with stress?

  1. I was gonna answer this yesterday and wish you best of luck on your finals, but somehow the day slipped away from me haha. (So good luck on your remaining finals again!)

    When I’m stressed out, I try to take better care of myself in general and focus on the smaller things that I can control and make myself feel better, like making sure I eat every meal, getting as much sleep as I can, taking time to do my makeup in the morning, putting something sparkly on my nails, etc. If something is realllly stressing me out but I need to focus and get other stuff done, then my answer is usually to sit down with a latte (pretty much the only time I drink coffee) outside in the sun, if possible, for about 20 minutes and just zone out before getting back to work. If I’m at home then I sit in bed with honeyed tea before packing everything into the kitchen (so I can’t fall asleep haha).
