Rouge Bunny Rouge Fall 2011: A Cappella

“A Cappella” is characterised by two basic elements which are absolutely essential for such a flawless look: mattified skin and covered imperfections. The essence of the look is to create a very soft make-up for which only perfecting products are important. Our make-up artists used only our two concealer pens and a primer to achieve “A Cappella”; foundations and powders are not necessarily a must.

A Cappella is Rouge Bunny Rouge’s latest offering for Fall 2011.  The concept of the collection is the nude, fresh face.  I don’t keep super-close tabs on makeup trends, but I’ve noticed this one popping up over the past year.  While it was a welcome break from heavier looks when it first appeared, I would rather see colorful, smokey shadows and rich, berry lips at this point.  Just a personal preference.

  1. I’m with you – I’d rather see the smokies and the vampies come out in fall! This seems like a gorgeous spring/summer look, though!

Chime in! (no self promotional links please)
