Impromptu

The brown sandals I’ve been wearing lately actually belong to my mom (Aerosoles Hedge Maple in Tan Leather).  I…erm…freed them from her closet.  In my defense, they really looked like they needed some fresh air.

It took about a week for her to notice, but only a minute to reclaim them.  She told me to get my own brown sandals.  What happened to sharing is caring?

I happened to have some store credit, so I payed $18 out-of-pocket.  Not bad at all.

You might recognize the shoes from my header image.  I had an impromptu ‘photo shoot’ the other day.  If you can even call it that.

One white sheet draped over a fence = extremely basic, DIY, large-scale infinity background!

Hope you’re having a good weekend so far 😀

  1. I like them! Aerosoles are usually pretty comfy, too, aren’t they?

Once upon a time, I had the same shoe size as my mom. Then MY feet shrank. Wtf? That’s not sposed to happen, right? I blame it on me moving away from HI and wearing closed toe shoes (and boots, always boots!) more often than the slippers I used to wear all the time.

    • Aerosoles are super comfy, I can literally run in their heels, and I wore them all summer when I was working in Taiwan (and walking instead of driving).

I’m not the same shoe size as my mom, but w/ open-toed sandals like these, you have a little leeway. We both like to wait until Aerosoles shoes are $10-20 to buy them, but sometimes her size sells out first, so she buys a size up.

And LOL, what?? Maybe it’s the weather too? My feet get slightly bigger in warmer weather, I think…

Chime in! (no self promotional links please)
